Hockey Rankings - 1st Team Girls

Oranje Meisies signed off this term’s matches with a 2-0 win over Affies and with that result lead this week’s Girl’s TurfTech Top 90 Hockey Rankings.

We are looking at a fairly stable Girls TurfTech Top 90 Hockey Rankings for this week with not that much change to the top half of the table.

Rhenish seized their moment in the sun with a stunning run of form at the All Girls Tournament last week and against some of the best in the country walked away with the title.

There is not much change on the leading group on this week’s Girls TurfTech Top 80 Rankings although Rhenish continues to impress and move up the table.

There were a couple of tough matches for Menlopark to negotiate during the past week which didn’t go their way and sees them losing a bit of ground at the top of this week’s Girls Turftech Top 70 Rankngs.

For the 5^th time in the past six years it was Oranje Meisies who travelled to the prestigious St Mary’s Waverely Festival and walked away with the crown.

Very little change this week on the Turftech Girls Top 50 Rankings although we can expect plenty of movement as the Festival Tournaments get underway.

Menlopark remain on top of this week’s TurfTech First Team Girl’s Rankings, although we have far more teams that have been included in the rankings following the past weeks’ matches.

The season is still very fresh but already we are looking at a two horse race between Menlopark and Oranje Meisies who have started the year in impressive form.

St.Mary’s Kloof put a historic performance at this year’s St.Mary’s Waverley Festival as they fought their way into the final match in a showdown with Collegiate which they managed to win in dramatic fashion.
