Amy Hughes, a Grade 9 student at Treverton College, has once again been selected for the U19 Inland Girls Cricket Team this year. She currently plays for the Inland women’s side. Amy was also invited to the SA U19 Women’s Cricket Trials for the U19 World Cup which took place last week in Durban.
A great achievement for a young girl. Her success is an inspiration to countless young girls who aspire to break stereotypes and achieve greatness in sports. The spirit of determination, passion for cricket and hard work no doubt helped her reach her goal.
