Kearsney’s 1st team captain Matthew Mendes de Oliveira (right) has been selected for the South African U18 hockey team for the second successive year. Kearsney’s director of hockey, Keegan Pearce (centre) has been appointed head coach of the SA U18, and Sandiswa Yeni has been selected for the KZN Coastals B team. In addition, two Kearsney old boys, Bili Ntuli (2014) and Calvin Davis (2021) will be representing South Africa in the men’s hockey at next month’s Olympic Games in Paris.
