Boys Hockey: This Week’s Rankings: 30/05/2019

We are looking at a very stable top half of the table on this week’s Boy’s TurfTech Top 80 hockey rankings which is still led by Hilton College.

However a closer look reveals that Jeppe are virtually alongside Hilton and it will not take much for Jeppe to capture the leading position if the remaining matches go their way. Hilton’s dominance at the top of the table was blunted somewhat with two successive drawn results which have allowed the chasing pack to make up some ground on them.

Jeppe outplayed Affies last week and Westville just were unable to put away Maritzburg College and had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

KES have also moved up nicely and will be looking at a top 10 finish alongside PBHS who on their day have proved to be the equal of any team.
