A well deserved win by Maritzburg College over Affies last weekend has helped to nudge them a little closer to Jeppe who still lead the Boys Hockey Rankings for this year.
It has been a see-saw battle at the top of the table since the season started and with only a handful of matches still to be settled it is still Jeppe and College who are locked into their struggle for supremacy.
However there are other teams that have also showed some good progress in the sport with the likes of Woodridge and Garsfontein proving that they can live with some of the bigger names in 2018. Bishops, Wynberg and Rondebosch representing the Western Cape are all in the top 10 which serves to underline the depth of the sport in that part of the country.
