Bishops held SACS to a 2-2 draw last week which underlines just how closely matched the leading teams are on this week’s Boys First Team School Hockey rankings.
However, the draw has allowed Hilton College to recapture the top spot following their win over DHS with Jeppe nudging into the top 5 after their win over KES.
The Big news in the world of Boys School Hockey is that the inaugural Boys Top 12 Tournament will be held at Michaelhouse this year on the 6-8 August 2022.
The Criteria to gain the much sort after ‘Golden Ticket’ invitation to the Boys Top 12 Tournament is as follows:
- The Top 12 schools according to the SA School Sports Rankings on the 31st May, 2022 will gain automatic invitations
- Teams need to play a minimum of 15 matches by the deadline 31st May, 2022 to qualify.
