U14 Cricket Rankings – Early Season Challenges and Standouts
The U14 age group is always a tricky one to rank, with little historical data to gauge the strength of each team. As a result, early-season rankings can sometimes throw up surprises, but these anomalies tend to level out as more matches are played.
Unfortunately, rain has not been kind to many U14 teams, with several fixtures washed out and some sides struggling to get a proper run of games. However, despite the disruptions, a few teams have wasted no time in making their mark.
Westville and Affies have both come out firing, delivering dominant performances against traditionally strong opposition. Their early-season form suggests they will be serious contenders as the season unfolds.
With more fixtures on the horizon, we can expect plenty of movement in the rankings. As teams get more game time and settle into their rhythm, the table will truly start to reflect the strength of this year’s U14 crop. Let’s see how things shape up in the coming weeks!
