A first look at the U14 School Rugby Rankings for 2021.
Just as the U14’s started to get the feel for high school rugby the perceived threat of COVID-19 seems to have put a temporary halt to their season.
This will come as a huge blow to the boys who would have been looking forward to an uninterrupted passage of play and the chance to play against their school’s traditional rivals.
That may yet happen but with only a handful of matches played the U14 School Rugby Rankings have Grey College at the top of the pile followed by Paarl Gim and a Northwood side who might well be the finest side the Knights have assembled for some time.
It goes without saying that as more matches get played, more teams will be entered into the rankings and some teams may well fall down the ladder with other teams leaping above.
