Netball:

Holy Rosary High School netball players, Songwe Kambafwile (Left) and Amarachi Obiedelu (R) have been selected to represent the Gauteng Provincial Netball Teams in their age groups.  Amarachi will be taking on the competition with the under 17 team, while Songwe will certainly be dominating in the under 13 team.

 

Swimming:

zuria from holy rosaryHoly Rosary School congratulates top provincial swimmer, Zuria Venter, on her outstanding performance at the South African Swimming Championships. With an impressive sweep, she claimed 1st place in 50m, 100m, 200m Breaststroke, and 200m Individual Medley. Zuria also took 2nd place in 200m Freestyle and 3rd place in the Medley relay.

At Midmar Mile earlier this year she won her age group U13 women.

 

Rowing:

rowing from holy rosary Three top rowers from Holy Rosary School, have earned their spots at the National Selection Regatta for the South African Junior team for the World Rowing Junior Championships.

 

From left to right – Hannah Roetger, Jeanne Riemann and Emma Gomes have trained extremely hard for many years in and out of the water, achieved numerous gold medals and will soon be competing with top rowers from all over the country, for a chance to represent South Africa on the world junior rowing stage.

High School Equestrian team members competed at SANESA Qualifier no. 3 recently. Tanna Webb (and Generaal) came 1st in Show jumping 60cm;   Leonie Saltas (and Todd) got first places in the Prelim Dressage tests, A & B .
