Maritzburg College’s 1st team took on Linpark in what was a repeat of last year’s League Final game. Linpark defended with determination and the half-time score stood at 0-0. College’s sustained pressure paid dividends in the second half and they ran out comfortable 2-0 winners. This means that College’s 1st team have now qualified for the League Final, with a game to spare, which they play on Thursday versus Carter on Barns’ at 4pm.

There were also very good results for the lower teams from the mid-week fixtures: U14A vs St Nicholas won 9-0

U15A vs St Nicholas won 4-3 U16A vs Alex won 2-1

2nds vs Carter 1sts lost 3-0 1sts vs Linpark won 2-0

Congratulations to the Maritzburg College’s volleyball teams who competed over the weekend winning all three of their fixtures.
