1st TEAM HOCKEY – St Mary’s Waverley Tournament

Our Lady of Fatima first team hockey participated in the prestigious St Mary Waverley tournament from the 3rd to 7th April.

The team had a fantastic build up to this tournament and stepped onto the field on day one feeling confident and ready to play out of their boots.

The team started with a bang and secured a win verse a very competitive Collegiate team. As the weekend progressed, the results ebbed and flowed, but one thing remained constant: the style and brand of hockey that the Fatima team displayed in each game.

We proved that even though we are a small school, we are a force to be reckoned with. The girls did themselves and the school proud, finishing a confident 26th overall.

This tournament is always a fantastic way for us to prepare for our upcoming season, and we eagerly anticipate what we can achieve in the season ahead.

1st TEAM NETBALL – St Andrew’s Tournament

The St Andrew’s tournament featured 32 teams from around the country, making it an extremely competitive event where consistency is key and there is little room for error.  The team can be proud of their performance, playing 14 games and winning 9.  They confidently won their pool section and claimed the Vuvuzela Trophy, finishing 25th overall.
