Girls’ School Hockey rankings Heats Up: Every Match a Battle for Glory!
The SA School Sports Girls First Team School Hockey Rankings are a cauldron of competition this week! With the qualification deadline fast approaching, teams nationwide are playing with fiery determination for a coveted spot in the upcoming tournaments. Every match, every goal, and every save carries immense weight.
Oranje Meisies cling fiercely to the No. 1 position, but their grip is far from secure. Garfontein’s golden opportunity to propel themselves up the rankings slipped through their fingers with two draws against Bloemfontein powerhouses Eunice and Oranje.
Beyond the top spot, the rankings see minimal movement, except for Bloemhof who toppled both Paarl Girls’ High and Wynberg in a high-scoring affair and have moved upwards.
