BASKETBALL

It was a full weekend of basketball for Kearsney players in a triangular with Hilton and St Charles. The 1st team did not participate after a full holiday of Michaelmas tournaments.

The U15As played at Northwood’s Home Turf Hoops U15 Invitation tournament. They won all their pool matches, making it through to the finals unbeaten, where they played against the heavily favoured Northwood team. They won the final 40-37.

The U14A and B teams participated in the Michaelhouse U14 tournament. The B team finished a credible 5th out of 12 teams and the A team lost narrowly 34-35 to Hilton in a pulsating match which highlighted all that is good about schoolboy sport.
