After a whirlwind of school rugby matches, we briefly catch our collect breathes just before the Easter Rugby Festivals kick off countrywide and take a snapshot at the current form of the teams that have played so far in 2022.
Grey College take the early lead on the opening First XV SA School Sports Top 100 Rankings and like Paarl Gim who follow closely in second position are unbeaten with huge winning margins underlining their dominance. Garsfontien are well placed in 3rd spot and will be buoyed by their 19-19 draw with Paarl Boys High to maintain an unbeaten record so far.
However, we are only including teams that have played a minimum of three matches so we can expect some top of the table entries next week when teams like Boishaai, KES, Hilton College and others play their 3rd match.
Understandably in these early stages of the season we can anticipate some fluidity on the School Rugby rankings table as more teams get entered into the system and more results are collated.
