At Crawford International La Lucia College, we have the courage to be different. Our rigorous, globally aligned academic programme sets the tone for our students to learn future-focused skills that will prepare them for life beyond school.
Academics
Crawford International La Lucia College prepares students for responsible adulthood and potential leadership. With a choice of more than 20 subjects for the FET Phase, students are offered the opportunity to pursue special areas of interest as part of our holistic approach to education. Students are also encouraged to participate in various extra-curricular activities.
Crawford International La Lucia College offers the widest and most flexible subject choices for students from Grade 10 – 12. The timetable allows for numerous combinations of subjects, and each student is timetabled individually, according to their subject requirements.
Grade 12 students write the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examination as their final Matric examination. We measure our students’ performance against credible international standards and our students write benchmarking tests.
Students can also elect to participate in international programmes such as Dale Carnegie’s Generation Next, The President’s Award, and Interact and Rotary Exchange programmes.

The Crawford International La Lucia College Sports Department is excited to present a comprehensive schedule of sports fixtures and events designed for all learners. At the heart of our sports ethos and culture are our four guiding pillars: Communication, Commitment, Character, and Community. These core values are the foundation of our approach, shaping the holistic development of each student and fostering the Crawford spirit.
One of our goals is to increase participation across all age groups and sporting codes, ensuring there’s something for everyone to engage with and enjoy. We aim to inspire a passion for sports while promoting a positive, healthy culture that supports growth and well-being at the College.
We strive to create an environment where individuals and teams can compete by showcasing their talents across various levels. Our sports philosophy places a strong emphasis on enjoyment, skills development, mental resilience, sportsmanship and teamwork. We also want to cultivate a mindset of perseverance and a “never give up” attitude, where students give of their best effort on and off the field.
