Paul Roos Gym has made some positive movement up this week’s TurfTech Boys Top 70 Rankings after being crowned the inaugural winners of the Hibbert Shield hosted by Grey HS.
PRG met Bishops, who had beaten them in their pool game, in the final match and in a six goal thriller won the tournament four goals to two.
However Grey High School have lost their grip on the top spot for this week after suffering not one by two defeats in their own backyard, first succumbing to Bishops and then to Paul Roos Gym in two closely contested matches. Failure by the Grey HS forwards to convert their many chances proved to be their undoing as they relinquish their hold on the table.
Hilton College now move into the pole position with an undefeated Easter weekend which included some good wins over PBHS, ST Davids and St Albans.
