Grey College take the lead in the first publishing of this season’s Belgotex Sports U16 Rankings with what would have been an unblemished record until they met Menlopark who managed to pull off a narrow win against the Bloemfontein outfit.
Menlopark who were upset by Oakdale 24-12, are certainly in with a very realistic chance to take the top spot on this table and will take a huge amount of confidence from their win over Grey College. They have steam-rolled over some of the weaker opposition they have faced and look like they are capable of finding another gear when needed against the big teams.
Please bear in mind we are still very early into the season and only teams with 3 or more matches are being reflected on the rankings at this time. There are still numerous results that are yet to be submitted.
