Grey College put on a master-class of power rugby when they took on Waterkloof in what turned out to be a fifty point whitewash and a shortcut to the top of this week’s U15 Top 70 Rankings.
One would expect Grey College to be right up there with the result of the leading teams but already at this early stage of the season they have opened up a fair margin against the chasseing pack and it will prove a huge challenge to catch the Bloemfontein team.
Outeniqua who are a strong team had their banana skin moment against Paarl Boys High who have been red hot this year and just had enough firepower to hand the Kwaggas their first defeat of the year. Boishaai edge ever closer to the top and will be hoping to continue their form in the matches to come.
Hilton College enter the top 10 zone after a successful Independent Schools festival where they took care of St.Stithians and Helpmekaar but narrowly lost to a strong St.Johns College side to prevent them holding onto to their unbeaten status.
