The annual Grey College vs Grey High School lived up to its expected competitiveness and at the end of the day the two Grey’s had to settle for a draw with both sides in a strong position to exact a win.
The draw leaves Grey College in 8th spot on this week’s Belgotex Sports U14 Cricket rankings with Hilton College who destroyed Glenwood resting at the top of the table.
One wonders what has happened to Glenwood U14’s who previously gave a good account of themselves when they beat Westville but were deconstructed by Hilton for a mere 41 runs in what turned out to be a 10 wicket thrashing.
Rondebosch and SACS slugged it out for a tight finish which saw Bosch winning by 1 wicket and Northcliff outplayed St.Stithians in what must be one of their finest wins to date.
