We have produced the Top ‘Boys Sports’ Schools and Top Girls Sports Schools, but who are the leading CO-ED Sporting Schools of 2022?
Making used of the various rankings that SA School Sports generates during the year, namely Rugby, Cricket, Water Polo (Boys & Girls), Hockey (Boys & Girls), Netball, Basketball and Football and only looking at the Co-educational schools, here are the Top Sporting Co-ed Schools of 2022.
Generally, those schools that have participated consistently across all of these 7 sporting codes have performed well on the rankings. When it comes to the water polo and hockey categories, schools that have done well with both their girls and boys have been able to accumulate additional bonus points which has assisted them on the table.
St. Stithians are the clear leaders on the table, although some may argue they are not a true co-ed school, however we have included both their boy’s and girls’ sports in these rankings. The Big 5 Co-educational school are made up of Paarl Gim, Garsfontein, Waterkloof and Menlo Park, all of them capable of holding their own against any of the top monastic schools in the country.
