SPAR Hockey Tournament
Our first hockey team played a good weekend of hockey winning 4 games, drawing one and narrowly losing on an unfortunate counter attack vs St John’s.
The team scored 24 goals, only conceding 1, but due to the structure of the pools, the team finished in 5th in place. The team remained in good spirits throughout the weekend, and it was an enjoyable end to the season.
Surfski
Grace took part in the 2024 SA Surfski Championships held in Durban last weekend. She was the youngest female to take on the 23 km paddle from DUC to Umdloti and won the U16 Female Surfski Champ for 2024.

The 1st team Tennis, Netball and Hockey competed in the Independent Schools Sports Festival, at St Stithian’s at the end of last term. This is always an enjoyable festival to conclude the seasons.
