School rugby enthusiasts have been treated to another exciting week of matches, with Grey College emerging as the new number one team in the rankings for this week after a tense victory over Outeniqua. Despite the loss, Outeniqua showed incredible courage and skill which did not go unnoticed by the rankings formula and have been rewarded with a respectable seventh place on the table.
Paarl Boys High slip up on Oakdale banana peel
Paarl Boys High, who were previously ranked first, had a stumble against Oakdale, slipping down to second place in the rankings. Their loss allowed Paarl Gim to move up to third place, taking advantage of Affies’ slide down the table after their shock defeat to Garsfontein in a high scoring Pretoria shootout.
