Early Season Frontrunners Emerge
Oranje Meisies, last year’s runners-up, have hit the ground running, showcasing their continued dominance and securing the number one spot for week one. They’re closely followed by Rhenish, determined to climb even higher after a strong showing in 2023. Rounding out the top three is Paarl Gim, a team not to be underestimated.
Eunice on the Rise
Last year’s champions, Eunice, have encountered a few bumps in the road early on. However, their signature tenacity is starting to shine through, and they’re steadily climbing the rankings, clinging to their top 10 place. Can they recapture their 2023 magic and reclaim the number one spot?
A Cinderella Story in the Making?
One of the most captivating stories of the young season is the meteoric rise of St. Anne’s. After finishing a commendable 31st in 2023, they’ve stormed out of the gates this year, currently residing within the coveted top ten! This is a true testament to the dedication of their players and coaching staff.

Remember, folks, this is just the beginning! Every win, every goal, every strategic maneuver will have a significant impact on the rankings throughout the season. Don’t forget, the invitations to the two most prestigious tournaments – the Oranje Meisies-hosted Super 12 and the Challengers Cup hosted by La Rochelle – are determined by these very school hockey rankings.
