U14 Boys’ Top Schools Tournament @ Paarl Boys’ High School
On a sunny Saturday in beautiful Paarl, the inaugural U14 Boys’ Top School Tournament started. As this was the first time Paarl Boys has hosted this prestigious tournament, excitement (and stress levels) were high), but all the hard work behind the scenes were rewarded by fast, entertaining hockey by the next generation of players.
Highlights of the day were the 1-0 win by Grey High School over Affies (very well supported by the Grey High Schooland 1-1 draw between Grey College and Paarl Gimnasium. The hosts Paarl Boys’ unfortunately went down 0-1 to Wynberg Boys in the last 20 seconds of a fast paced, action-filled game.
