There is not much change on the leading group on this week’s Girls TurfTech Top 80 Rankings although Rhenish continues to impress and move up the table.
Rhenish will be pleased with both their results during the past week where they came close to beating a strong Paarl Gim side but had to settle for a draw and then outplayed Paarl Girls High in a comfortable win.
The race is on to see who will qualify for the Super 12 Tournament this year and looking further down the list we notice several teams are in the frame. Hudson Park who are having a strong season, Clarendon and Durban Girls College are all within striking distance of a top 10 placing if the results go their way. And what of the Rondebosch powerhouse Rustenburg could they make it this year? Remember a minimum of 15 matches need to be played by the 31st of May, 2019.
