St Annes power their way up the rankings with a dominant display at the ISSF Festival and now find themselves knocking down the door to get in amongst the top 10 leading teams.
Nestled away in the KZN Midlands, St Annes is somewhat starved of top class opposition but when they get their chance to play the big names they have certainly shown that they are as good as any team in the country on the day.
St Mary’s Waverley suffered several defeats which has seen them lose some footing on the Belgotex Sports Girls Hockey Rankings for this week as they struggle to remain amongst the top teams.
However the form team from KZN this year, St Mary’s Kloof look to be in great form and will be hoping they can peak for the Super 12 Tournament in August, 2018. Herschel also recorded a brace of wins during the past weeks which assist them to keep the pressure on Oranje at the pinnacle of the table.
