Selborne College determined to finish the season on a high extracted all they had to blunt the challenge of Grey High School last week and is so doing consolidate their position in the top five of this week’s First XV Top 100 Rankings.
Glenwood was the only other team from the leading group that played and it proved to be a comfortable victory for them against Waterkloof who never really threatened their unbeaten status.
Good news for HTS Drostdy who clamber up to within striking distance of a top 10 finish following their deconstruction of Diamantveld.
Next week the season all but comes to an end with the biggest show on offer the Paul Roos Gym vs Grey College match, a result that could not only decide the number 1 in the country but also leave one of the teams without their unbeaten standing intact.
