The pools have been drawn. A new section added. Everybody is gearing up for the 2023 Cape Town International Hockey Tournament, taking place from 18 to 23 July.
The tournament comprises of two sections: the Elite section and the newly introduced Evolve section. In the Elite section, both the boys and girl’s tournament features 4 pools, each with 5 teams. The Evolve section will feature 2 pools, each consisting of 6 teams. With the inclusion of this section, we are thrilled to bring together a total of 64 teams who will compete in an exciting line-up of 244 matches.
The venues are thoughtfully designed with astro surfaces to offer a seamless and reliable playing field, enabling the players to effectively display their skills. With the involvement of local, regional, and international teams, you can anticipate a captivating series of matches. We invite you to join us at the venues and cheer on your favourite teams. While soaking up the action on the field, support our vendors by indulging in delicious food, refreshments and an assortment of merchandise.
The 2022 tournament, won by Paarl Gimnasium (girls) and SACS (boys) saw some phenomenal action-packed hockey.
