St Stithians Clinch Reef Cup as Girls’ Water Polo Rankings Heat Up
The latest edition of the Sportsmans Warehouse SA School Sports Girls Water Polo Rankings sees plenty of movement after an intense period of competition, highlighted by the thrilling Reef Cup Tournament.
St Stithians capped off a superb campaign by edging past an impressive Reddam Bedfordview 9-7 in a gripping final. The win was particularly satisfying for Saints, who avenged an earlier-season defeat at the Brian Baker Tournament against the same opposition. With Reddam Bedfordview emerging as a rising force in the school water polo scene, this clash was a true showcase of the sport’s growing depth.
Despite Saints’ tournament triumph, it is Rodean who continue to hold onto the top spot in the rankings, demonstrating their consistency throughout the season. Herschel remains in the mix as well, making up the top three in what has been a fiercely competitive year.
