Thursday was the start of the Makhanda Schools Cricket Festival at Kingswood College with our 1st team taking on Hellenic Academy from Zimbabwe in a declaration game.
It was wonderful to watch man of the match, Patrick Mouton taking 6 wickets for 42 runs in the first innings and 4-41 in the second innings in his first game for the Kingswood 1st XI, while Dan Jakins made his first half century (56 runs) for the Kingswood 1st XI and his team mate Ross Thompson also made 56 runs.
