Paarl Gim shifted gears rapidly in their match against SACS and put on a ruthless display in what turned out to be a one-sided encounter on the day. However the win keep’s the U14 Paarl Gim side way out in front in the No. 1 position for this week on the U14 School Rugby Rankings.
Maritzburg College, who have been in good form and tasted life at the top of the table last week, were forced to bend their knee to Hilton College for their first defeat of the season. Rumour has it that the Maritzburg College side was slightly depleted for this match, but the record book will still show a win for Hilton, such is life in school rugby.
Boishaai have also fought their way back into the top 10 zone after a solid win over Wynberg and we can surely expect them to climb further up the table as the season progresses.
