The 2025 St John’s College Basketball Tournament will take place from the 20 to 23 February – the biggest boys’ school tournament in Southern Africa.
Prepare for an exhilarating 4 days of nonstop basketball action, as 64 talented teams from 3 different age groups face off in intense competition across 3 courts. Don’t miss a moment of the excitement!
The St John’s College Basketball tournament promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent, featuring local schools and competitive inter-provincial teams from the Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, and KwaZulu-Natal. Adding to the excitement, teams from our neighboring country, Zimbabwe, will also take to the courts, bringing an international flair to the competition.
The U19 and U15 competition format includes a round-robin phase, with top sides going on to play in the knockout stages, while U13 age-group categories play a festival format over the four days.
