Affies Reign Supreme at Wildeklawer, Extend Lead in School Netball Rankings
Affies netball continues to be a force to be reckoned with! The Pretoria powerhouse secured back-to-back victories at the prestigious Absa Wildeklawer sports tournament in Kimberley, further solidifying their position as the number one ranked team in the country’s school netball rankings.
Their triumph wasn’t without its challenges. The final against Girls’ School Oranje from Bloemfontein proved to be a tough battle. However, Affies displayed remarkable resilience and tactical prowess, ultimately emerging victorious with a score of 26-14.
This latest win extends Affies’ dominance over Oranje. The Pretoria side has now triumphed in four out of their last six encounters with their fierce rivals. Their unwavering performance throughout the tournament has undeniably cemented their status as the leading team in South African school netball.
As a result, Affies has opened up a significant lead at the top of the school netball rankings. It’s important to remember that maintaining accurate rankings relies heavily on timely results submissions.
