U16 Girls School Hockey Rankings Heats Up: Top Schools Tournament Looms!
The U16 Girls Hockey season continues to be a thriller! Every week, the battle for national glory intensifies as teams vie for a coveted spot in the prestigious Paarl Gim-hosted Top Schools Tournament.
Garsfontein Making Waves!
Garsies are making a serious splash! With a dominant wins against Eunice under their belts and a hard fought draw in their encounter with Oranje Meisies, they’ve climbed the rankings to enter the top 5 zone. Keep your eye on this team – they’re putting pressure on the top contenders!
Paarl Gim Retains the Crown (For Now!)
But Paarl Gim aren’t giving up their throne easily! They delivered a solid performance against strong Affies side, showcasing their tactical brilliance and unwavering focus. Their dominance continues as they remain No.1 on the school hockey rankings.

The Race is On to Qualify for the Two Premier U16 Tournaments!
Paarl Gim will again by hosting the U16 Top School Tournament for Girls. The deadline is looming. Only the top 12 qualify for this premier event, so check out the details. However all is not lost if you are not in the top 12. DSG Makanda is looking after the positions 13-25 in the Rising Challengers Cup. Check out the details for both tournaments here.
