Paarl Gymnasium will once again be at the forefront of schoolgirl hockey when it hosts one of the country’s premier U16 Girls’ Hockey Tournaments from 7–10 August 2026.
As is customary, the 12 participating teams will be selected based on their position in the Top 12 of the FAIRTREE Girls Hockey Rankings.
Before invitations are extended, the Tournament Committee will apply the following qualifying criteria:

Teams must have played a minimum of 13 matches by 3 June 2026 to be eligible.

All match results from March 2026 onward must be submitted to SA School Sports Magazine to qualify for the rankings.

Only teams meeting these requirements will be considered for invitation to this prestigious tournament.
