As the deadline to qualify for the Super 12 Tournament looms there has been some movement on this week’s Girls First Team School Hockey Rankings.
Invitations to the Oranje Meisies hosted Super 12 Tournament which will be played 4-7 August, is dependent on who finishes where at the top of the table with the top 10 gaining automatic entry. A reminder of the criteria:
- Top 10 schools according to the rankings on the 31 May, 2022 gain automatic invitations
- 2 wild cards (as decided by Tournament Committee)
- Teams need to play a minimum of 15 matches by the deadline 31 May, 2022 to qualify
Several teams could still qualify with positions 9-20 very tightly grouped together with a single win or loss potentially sending teams in both directions on the table.
