There is not much change on this week’s SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings although what separates the top teams is hardly significant.
PRG who are busy doing duty at the Sanix World Rugby Tournament in Japan are still enjoying life at the top spot but the chasing pack of Grey College, Boishaai and Paarl Gim have closed the gap and are all in the mix to challenge for the pole position.
Paarl Gim made up some important ground with their win over Oakdale and looked poised to mount a major offensive on the leading three in the weeks to come.
Grey HS, who would have expected a win over Wynberg, were forced to settle for their second draw of the season which has seen then lose some footing amongst the leading group. Selborne College however return to the top 10 zone following their win over Queens College who after promising so much have now lost four matches on the trot.
