Menlopark take a step up on this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings to place in the top three after a solid win last week over Helpmekaar.
Menlo have been in terrific form in 2018 with only the single loss against Grey College to blemish an otherwise points heavy fixture list which includes 14 victories.
Defensively Menlopark have only conceded on average 9 points per match and have scored more than 41 points on attack which underlines what a class side they are this season. Could they mount a serious challenge to move up even further on the table? Time will tell.
Selborne College also get nudged up the table and are on in a strong position to finish amongst the leading 5 teams before the season is called. However Maritzburg College who looked poised to take their place in the top 10 drop off the pace following what some may say was a shock loss to Glenwood who piled on the pressure to walk off with a comprehensive win. If Glenwood can continue the momentum and finish the season strongly they may well end amongst the leading group.
