The 2021 U15 school rugby season has been one that hopefully will not be repeated. After a great deal of anticipation just as the season was finding its feet, it was brought back to earth with a thump never to fully recover.
The COVID-19 restrictions imposed on the U15 Rugby season impacted all the teams and few got the opportunity to play a decent number of matches. This has resulted in a skewed rankings table and not much can be taken from it. We publish it to give a slight indication of where the teams were before the COVID induced stoppages, but many will rightly argue that much could have changed if the season had been anything close to normal. With that we agree.
As with all ranking systems the more results that are entered into it the more realistic the end product.
Well-done to all the players and coaches who endured a testing season and with much hope 2022 will be far better.
