Thank you to Ashton College for hosting us last Wednesday for all our netball fixtures, all the games were played with great sportsmanship and were all very competitive.

NETBALL AGE GROUP TOURNAMENTS
The 1st Team, U16A, and U14A recently competed in their annual age group tournaments over the past two weeks. These events, held near the end of the season, provide an excellent opportunity for the teams to showcase their progress and the skills they have developed throughout the year.
Well done to our 1st team and U16A team who both finished 2nd in their tournaments and a further congratulations to the following girls on their achievements:
- 1st team: Khanya Mkhize awarded Player of the Tournament
- U16A: Kenia Grote and Nomaswazi Vilakazi selected for the All Stars Team
- U14A: Mika Gouws and Almone Bosch selected for the All Stars Team.
NETBALL CHALLENGE
The U10 – U18 all recently played in their respective Netball North Durban Challenges. The winners of these tournaments went on to play in the Umlazi Netball Challenge. Congratulations to the U18, U16 and U13 team on making it through to the next round, the Umlazi Challenge.

HOCKEY Results:
The last two weeks have seen us take on some tough opposition, we thank all the schools for taking the time to play us.
Last week Tuesday we took on St Mary’s Kloof. Well done to all involved, was a lovely day filled with some competitive hockey.

A special mention must be given to our 1st Team this week as they went down 1 – 0 in the first chakka and fought hard to come back and win 3 – 1.
This week Monday and Tuesday saw us take on Durban Girls College. The level of hockey displayed by both schools was exceptional and we thank DGC for such a competitive set of fixtures for all our girls.

A special mention must be given to our U14A team who played a very strong Durban Girls College U14A team. It was such an intense game with it going down to the last chakka still 0 – 0. With 3 minutes to go, Fatima win a short corner and Charly-Rose Boyall slots the ball into the bottom left hand corner.
Thank you to Thomas More College who so grateful hosted all our hockey fixtures this Saturday. Was such an awesome day filled with fun and some fantastic results.

With our KZN league coming to an end, a huge congratulations must go out to all our hockey players! It’s been a long season this term, but these girls have fought right to the very end and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
Our hockey program has done so well this year with us fielding an A and B team in every age group and winning 2 of the 3 ‘A’ division leagues in KZN.
Our U14A’s played 7 league games, won 6 and drew 1, allowing them to win the U14A girls league.
Our U16A’s played 7 league games and won all 7, allowing them to win the U16A girls league.
Our 1st Team played 7 league games, won 4 and lost 2, allowing them to finish 3rd in the 1st Team girls league.
