Sports News from Maritzburg College on their weekend wrap up for Soccer and Cycling.
Soccer
College’s soccer teams took on local rivals St Charles College, with some excellent games throughout the day in near perfect weather conditions. College won 12 of their 18 games, drawing two and losing four.

The 1st team game was a low scoring affair, with College failing to take advantage of numerous first half opportunities. St Charles eventually grabbed the winner in the second half with a close range finish from a well worked set piece play.
This Saturday College will play DHS for the historic Raw Cup – a trophy contested since 1889.
