The U14 season has traditionally culminated in the leading teams in the country facing off in the Paarl Boys High Top School tournament. This year was no different as the U14s battled it out among the best in the country.
In the end, it was Paul Roos Gym and Northwood who squared off in the final match, which saw PRG taking the title. Paul Roos Gym had a terrific season, and if it had not been for some early defeats to SACS and Grey HS, they could have finished higher on the table.
Congratulations to Paarl Boys High for once again staging a fantastic tournament and for collaborating with SA School Sports to host this U14 showcase.
It has been a fiercely competitive season, and it bodes well for the state of school hockey around the country.
