SACS will go into the break in the season as the leading team in the country and few would dispute their dominant form this season. It seems like an unshakeable lead, but the chasing pack isn’t giving up without a fight.
Paul Roos Gymnasium (PRG) is hot on their heels. Their recent 7-1 thrashing of Wynberg showcases their hunger for the title. They’re ready to pounce on any opportunity if SACS falters in the final stretch of the season.
Elsewhere, disappointment struck for DHS. Their climb up the rankings was blunted by a tough outing against Clifton, ultimately resulting in an unexpected late-season loss. This shakes things up considerably, injecting more uncertainty into the race for supremacy.
With just a handful of points separating the top contenders, the battle for the championship is far from over. The coming weeks promise to be filled with exciting fixtures, where the potential for upsets hangs heavy in the air. Buckle up, hockey fans! Every game could be a game-changer, and anything can happen.
