In a thrilling turn of events, the cut-off for qualifying for the highly anticipated Oranje Meisies Super 12 Tournament and the La Rochelle Challengers Cup Tournament has passed on the 31st of May, 2023. The School Hockey Rankings for First Team Girls have been updated to reflect the latest developments. Over the past week, as many will imagine a flood of results poured in, significantly impacting the standings.
Congratulations are in order for the teams that have secured their spots in the Super 12 (positions 1-10) and the Challengers Cup (positions 13-25) Tournaments. The response and interest in these tournaments have been nothing short of overwhelming. We extend our sympathies to those teams who narrowly missed out. The margins that separate teams are often minuscule, determined by the quality of 
opposition faced or even the smallest margins of victory.
Nevertheless, the school hockey rankings continue, and we strongly encourage coaches to keep sending in their team’s results. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone involved for their incredible support, especially the coaches and the dedicated players who have logged countless hours on the turf in pursuit of their dreams.
The journey continues, and each game brings new opportunities. Keep pushing, keep striving, and remember that the true measure of success lies in the growth, dedication, and camaraderie fostered by this beautiful game of school hockey. Onward we go, together!
