Kearsney’s Thomas Aylward has been selected as KZN’s U19A water polo captain for the IPT (Inter Provincial Tournament) scheduled to be held in Johannesburg from 6-10 December.
Two other Kearsney players, Oliver Ludwig and Thomas Francke, have also been selected for the team.

Three Kearsney boys have been called up to SA Rugby’s U17 Elite Player Development Squad. Clement Makelele, Nhlanhla Ndlovu and Lwazi Mbebe will join 58 top players from around the country, at a development camp at Boland Landbou from 28 November to 5 December.
POWERLIFTING
Kearsney Grade 10 pupil Sean Rowan won gold in his division at the WPC World Powerlifting Championships held earlier this month. Rowan competed in the Classic Raw Teen 2 (16-17) under 82.5kg category, achieving 135kg back squat, 70kg bench press, 145kg deadlift with a 350kg total.
