GOLF
Kearsney’s grade 11 golfer Harry Clayton won the individual competition at the KZN High Schools Championships held at Umhlali Country Club in very difficult conditions last week. After a slow start on the first 18 holes, he fought back in the second round with some consistent golf, to finish three shots ahead.
In an incredible accolade for a schoolboy, Harry has been selected to the KZN Men’s Interprovincial team to play at the Men’s Interprovincial next month.
BASKETBALL
Six 1st team basketball players from Kearsney College earned their 50 caps at the end of the season. They are Jack McReynolds, Lwandile Njapha, Daniel Prinsloo, Kabo Ramodibedi, Pabatso Sithole and Troy Vermeulen.
