Only the one change amongst the leading teams on this week’s Girls U16 Hockey Rankings, with St Mary’s Waverley getting into the top 5 sector in an otherwise unchanged top of the table.
The big tournament that will feature 12 of the top teams in the country will take place in August at Paarl Gym and Herschel will be going into that event as the clear favourites. However they have been beaten this year so are by no means infallible and on their day any of the leading sides could feature prominently.
