We are looking at a fairly stable Girls TurfTech Top 90 Hockey Rankings for this week with not that much change to the top half of the table.
However it is getting very close as a bundle of teams thrash it out to qualify for the Oranje Meisies Super 12 Tournament that will take place in August. Only teams ranked no 1- 10 on the SA School Sports Rankings automatically qualify to be invited and they must have played at least 15 matches. This is subject to all Tournament criteria being adhered to.
Should any of the mentioned 10 teams not be able to participate, the 11th team etc. automatically qualify to be invited.
Looking down the table teams like DSG, Durban Girls College, Eunice and Clarendon are all in the mix and with a few weeks until the deadline must be hoping for some good results.
At the moment Oranje is still keeping the chasing pack at bay at the top of the rankings although there is little to separate the front runners.
