Some very slick handling by Paul Roos Gym helped to secure their fifth win of the season when they dismantled SACS to the tune of 70-21 and remain at the top of this week’s SA School Sports Top 100 Rankings.
PRG have scored heavily in their past five outings, scoring above 60 points in every match and appear to be in ominous form in this early stage of the season. Of course there is still some big matches that they will have to negotiate in the weeks to come but all the signs are there that they pose a real challenge to be the leading team in the country at the season’s end.
Grey College however are closing the gap with each match they play and outplayed Waterkloof with apparent ease to keep their unbeaten status intact. Paarl Gim notched up an impressive win over Affies and they will be pleased with their performance against a strong opponent and Glenwood threw down the gauntlet to the KZN teams that the Green Machine is still a powerhouse in the region with a big win over Westville.
