Rondebosch put one last effort in last weekend before the final showdown of the first part of the season when they took on Bishops and came home with a crushing victory.
Rondebosch climb into second spot on this week’s Belgotex Sports First XI Rankings and they will be thanking Guy Sheena who once again was magical with the ball as he bowled a marathon spell of 35 overs claiming eight wickets for 64 runs.
Rondebosch will meet up with Hilton College, St Andrews School, Grey High School, KES, St Albans, Prestige College and Graeme College at the Coca-Cola T20 Challenge this week to see who will be crowned the T20 kings.
Graeme College are perhaps the shock entrants into the finals and put on their best displays of the season when they beat Hudson Park and Western Cape Sports School to qualify. These results pushed Graeme into the T20 Finals for the first time.
